Thomas & Anna’s Wedding at NYIT de Seversky Mansion

On October 27, 2018, I photographed this fun, special and romantic Chinese-French wedding taking place at NYIT de Seversky Mansion on Long Island. The bride, Anna, is originally from China. Her family members flew all the way from China to attend their wedding. The groom, Thomas, is originally from France. His family members flew from France to attend their wedding. The wedding was a mix of French and Chinese culture which made it very special.

Traditional Chinese tea ceremony represents respect to the bride and groom’s parents and elderly family members on both sides. It’s also a symbol of two families combining together to become one family through the marriage.
Chinese red packets given to the bride and groom by their family members. In Chinese tradition, red packets can bring good luck. Oh, and guess what, there’s money in each red packet.

Here is a slideshow of this wedding.
